Combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid Course - 3 day


This 3 day course combines Level 3 First Aid at Work and level 3 Paediatric First Aid. This provides learners with all of the skills and knowledge needed to provide both adult and paediatric First Aid, to minimise the number of training days required to achieve both qualifications.


This course has been specifically designed for those who work in settings that require both First Aiders and Paediatric First Aiders such as schools, sports clubs or other childcare settings.


This course is approved by Qualsafe Awards, an Awarding Organisation recognised by Ofqual to offer regulated qualifications.

  • Accident reporting


  • Assessing an incident


  • Casualty assessment


  • Managing an unresponsive casualty


  • Recovery position


  • CPR and AED training


  • Heart attack and angina


  • Stroke


  • Choking


  • Epilepsy


  • Asthma


  • Meningitis and febrile convulsions


  • Diabetes


  • Anaphylaxis


  • Shock


  • Seizures


  • Head, neck, chest and spinal injuries


  • Wounds, bleeding and hypovolaemic shock


  • Fractures, dislocations, sprains and strains


  • Burns and scalds


  • Hypoxia and hyperventilations


  • Poisoning


  • Electric shock


  • Eye, nose and ear injuries


  • Minor injuries


Certification: There will be continuous assessments throughout the day and 2 short multiple-choice test.


This is a level 3 qualification, all delegates will receive a comprehensive manual and certificate which is accredited by Ofqual and valid for 3 years.
